    Suzuki stepping up

Seems like theyre adding a few more pros to the team this year. Maybe trying to get more into the bass fishing market?

Just saw Adrian lavena has a new cat with one on it.

They won't need much in the way of a maintenance/repair tent that's for sure

I had a 200 that would run 6k all day long. No issues at all.

Believed to be the best selling outboard in the world. American bass fishermen don’t know much about them, but they are solid.

I bought a Suzuki 150 in the late 90s and it was bullet proof, not one issue. It came with a 6 year warranty, even back then.

92 still going strong. Biggest fear back then was where to take it if it needed service. Lol

I bought what was probably the same motor around 2000 on a deckboat. I put more hours than I can count on it in 15 years, virtually all of them with a tube or a skier behind it. I think around year six or so I changed the plugs just because I felt bad that I hadn’t done anything to it. I changed the impeller and fluids occasionally but never winterized it or ran additives. It never sputtered. Not once. Best engine I’ve ever owned on any type of vehicle. Sold it to another family and they’ve run it with the same results.

I’d buy another one in a heartbeat.

Got one on my boat and getting ready to replace it with a new 300. My 225 has been bullet proof. I just want better mileage.

Have a suzuki df115. Not one issue with it. Could barely hear it running and very fuel efficient. Suzuki is taking over the saltwater market on big center console boats.

Great that they're entering the market, but the question is, will they stay??? Can't expect to sponsor a few pros for 2-3 years and expect to pick up market shares... Plus I'm sure Mercury, Yamaha and Evinrude won't go quietly... Dan

Dang. Maybe IF I ever sell mine, I can get some bigger bucks for it. The thing I like the best, is it (knock on wood) makes round trips.

Dean Rojas is switching to Blazer boats and a Suzuki he's been with Skeeter forever but I guess the smaller manufacturers found out that they're going to compete are going to have to ante up

What's to miss - blown compressors followed by catastrophic powerhead failure, and LUs disintegrating?

I'd be scared of any brand except Suzuki if in the market. Guess my '03 3L EFI will have to do.
