Curious what a Blazer even looks like. I already know that unless Suzuki has done something different their Engines are butt ugly

I have always run Mercury outboards, but at the Tulsa Classics, I looked at the Suzuki SS and I liked how they looked and very much liked their sharp-looking matte black finish. Oh -- while I'm at it -- go to You-Tube and watch some of the videos on the 625 Elite Blazer. I like what I saw ... maybe you will too.

For those that thought Blazer didn't build bass boats any more... It's been non-stop for 40 years.

Mark Pieser ran a Bullet/Suzuki combo and that boat still around with zero issues. Steve can proud the Suzuki all day long for performance also.

Didn't realize Blazer is owned by the Chris Craft family. Good to see some other brands in the mix. I am sure it will be the Best Boat and Motor Combination he has ever had. I think they get paid to say that.

My boat is a slug. It's 19 feet 5 inches dual console with a (ugh) Suzuki DF 175, a four cylinder 4 stroke. If I had known my motor was ugly, I might have bought something else. It'll barely do 60 but it runs back on the trailer every time I go somewhere. That's worth more to me than speed and beauty.

We have a dealer here in NC that is one of if not the biggest Suzuki dealer in the US. They sure do sell a bunch on the saltwater boats and pontoons. They picked up Triton a while back and see a fair amount of them on the tin boats. A guy I talk to on the lake fairly often has a 175 on his bass boat and speaks highly of it.

Blazer is not owned by the "Chris Craft" family... lol. Keith and Lonnie Craft have owned it for 40 years. Nothing to do with Cris Craft!

From what I saw it's 20'6" with a 93" beam. Not a wide body at all, I bet that Suzuki will push it in the high 70s.

I'm not laughing at your boat and don't think your motor is ugly just had to laugh at your terrific delivery......

I didn't know until now that guys spent so much time looking at their motors and were concerned about it's appearance you must spend all your time fishing and didn't really notice what the motor looks like.

P.S. I just looked on Suzuki's Website would someone explain what's so ugly about them?

Little shocking...since he's been with Yamaha and Skeeter for so long...he's gonna lose some room for all those frogs but that 625 is a nice boat and that Suzuki SS is kinda like the old 3.1 Yamaha when it comes to servicing if you listen the the techs, they just don't come in for service very often compared to others engines...

He’ll be lucky to see mid 70’s that 625 isn’t a very fast hull. I believe they weigh around 1600lbs. But low to mid 70’s for those elite guys is pretty quick. Most run very low 70’s.
