    I made it to Hemphill today, had packages to drop off at the Post Office, it was like a ghost town, went to lunch at Lanes and there were 4 people in there, roads were not too bad, had a few ice - slushy places, 27 degrees right now, hoping it stays there, can't see it getting into the low 20's.

    Accuweather saying 22 in Hemphill now and 16 for a low. I’m worried about the water in the pump in my washing machine (Fairmount). It’s always warmer close to the water, the lake acts like a heater.

    I was pro active on Monday and scheduled a vacation day for Tuesday and damned if they didn’t send everyone home anyways. That’s a BIG deal at AT&T! This AM it’s 20 with wind chill of 8 called the boss for another vacation day and he said nope get your ass to work.

    At 6:00am my weather station said it's 14* with a wind chill of 4*. At 6:00am, it's 32* in Anchorage Alaska. WTF
