Have probably over 1200 hours on my 2004 225hp HPDI. I had all my filters changed 3+ years ago and I had right at 1000 hours. Have had no issues (knock, knock). As said before, they do not like ethanol. Lose speed, RPMs. Been running Penzoil PP and Ringfree. If I had to get ethanol fuel I always treated with Stabil......
