    2006 Ranger Z19

What's up guys. Finally think I found the boat I want to pull the trigger on but have never been in this particular Ranger. I have been in Z118's, Z119's, Z20's, Z21's, every 500 series out there but never a Z19. I found a 2006 Z19 with a 225 Mercury Optimax with 190 hours.

Looking for opinions on how the Z19 rides and it's fishability compared to the 20 foots and Z519's. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Tight lines!

a few months ago we installed one of our console mounts and gauge relocation package in a single console model and ran it for awhile on Ky Lake. I thought it handled like dream in some chop. Loaded and unloaded nicely as well. Great boat IMHO.

It is a very fun boat. It will fish about the same as the Z20 with less storage in the rear. The ride will not be a lot different either.

Anybody know if there’s a way to remove that passenger console?

Just got her home today. Getting the trolling motor recessed tomorrow, and researching graphs to install. I'd like a Helix 10 at the console and 7 or 9 at the bow but if I could find cheaper by going with HDS 9 gen 2's I'd consider that. Any feedback on electronics?

Nice looking rig, I've always liked that model. I would go modest on the graphs and upgrade the TM to an ultrex. Maybe a Helen 9 or 10 at the wheel and pick up a used 7 for the front and grab the trolling motor.

    Damn! Looks great!

As for units, it’s always user reference. I’m having Helix 10’s put on mine and decided on them based solely on many of the guys I fish with running them. It’s easier for me to find someone to help with them althan Lowrance.

Sweet rig! I have always loved the Z19's! That was the FLW color package that year.

Have the option of getting 2 - Lowrance HDS Carbon 12's deeply discounted, but man is the Humminbird Solix / Helix Side Imaging amazing!
