your better to buy a 30 and get it turned down to a 29.

As everybody knows I’m a big pro et fan. I love them. Not the fastest topend wheel I put on my boat but nothing will put accelerate a pro et.

Personally I think a 28 would be ideal for a 250/20xd. In our tournaments we have a lot of shot run tournaments so I run a 28p pro et lots on my 300xs/20xd. I get 92-93 regardless of load. BUT I get 92mph in 20 seconds from a complete stop.

Long runs like that I’d be running performer propellers. Either a BC or ET. From my personal experience the BC carries a load really well. But when I’m lighter the ET has crazy legs on top. I ran 102 with my 30 performer et 2 guys loaded to fish. I added a few goodies to my motor and now have lithium batteries so I’m pretty excited for ice off to see what I’ll get now.

From my testing on my rig and a few other friends rigs the performer’s will out topend a pro ET. But nothing will out accelerate a pro et. So just depends what’s more important to you.

Again this is just my personal opinion/testing.
