there are two screws behind each center pad on seat back held in with velcro and three more smaller screws in center above the step.
So the whole section comes out?
Yes the whole section comes out at once. Two screws in the back of each seat and three screws in the back of the center buried in the carpet

As you have never had the seats out this is what you might find:
*After replacing the rusted out SRS springs I took the skins/seats to a local upholstery shop for install. They have all the correct SS nuts and tools to do this right and he did a new plastic wrap on the seat foam.
