    Drop Shot Clips

Does anyone one use these? Do they work? Seems like it will keep the weight from flying all over the place.

Yea I got em. Put on the rod handle down towards end. You just slide the line and drop shot weight in. Keeps it nice and neat for storage.

I only like these for split grip handles, they slide up the rod too much and are a bit bulky for traditional handles imo

Those look pretty bulky. Wouldn't it bother your hand that is on the butt when casting? I use these velcro straps. You lose em but they are pretty cheap. Most music stores have them.

No, mine is not bulky at all. will not bother my hand as it is below the split grip at the end of the rod. This worked out perfect and I can't lose it and only buy it once :)

I make my own out of broken spinnerbait/buzzbait wire using a pair of needle nose pliers. The wire is stainless and it ends up looking a lot like the KH-DSC. For practice you can use paperclips.

They cost me $0.49 each and I got them with other items I bought so shipping was included. Can't beat that
