Crappie schools on 360 & SI

Here's a few shots of some crappie schools from around here in AZ

I've got lots more 360 shots if you want to see more.

    Cheers
    Scott

We like to see screen shots. Helps with learning to interpret the images.

Crappie and bait under a dock with MEGA on a Helix 10

Same dock with 360 imaging on an Onix 10

    Good stuff, jpschneid

These are all crappie. Default settings except I believe contrast is changed from default 10 to 8 in deeper water.

A bit of crosstalk on here from a nearby kayaker using a lowrance.

Tree and branches off to the left

I notice on the white pallet shadows are whiter against the bottom.

Fish plus a tree below the boat.

Scanning down a marina dock (the vertical line on my right). A crappie school at 2:00 roughly 65 feet away

I pulled up to the closest slip next to the boat (hull ridges visible on my right). The ridges on the left are the hull of the boat in the next slip
Crappie schools can seen at the end of both slips under the center walkway

Your last image is probably the most useful 360 shot i've seen so far

You're doing good when you can make out fish past the 2nd ring.

On the 2nd slide, based on the fish in the water column and shadow on the floor, where would you estimate the fish to be horizontally from the boat?

Man I am impressed with your images. I have been holding off on a 360 just because it seems like it's been out long enough that an update could be around the corner.... but these images make me want to go ahead and jump on one. I'd probably never get it as tuned in as yours though. Thanks for sharing.

Another one of my favorites .... bass at 2:00 chasing a bait ball at 1:00. Note the shadows the bass are casting on the bottom

Bass and shad. One of the three bass after this school of shad weighed 10# 13 oz. The shad school is split on each side of the scan line at 10:00 and 12:00.

Sitting in a marina slip shooting under the dock. The underwater dock structure is visible below me. The red circle highlights the crappie school I was targeting.
Knowing the fish are there and where to cast is a huge advantage

I believe the fish on the 18' ring are about 12' from the transducer and about 13' deep.
