Fluorocarbon Line Fir Pitching a Jig?

What brand and pound test fluorocarbon would be best for pitching or skipping a jig under or around docks? At present I'm using Power Pro 30# braid.

I am currently using Sunline Sniper 15lb. But considering changing to braid with a 15 to 20 lb Floro leader.

I use gamma 20 lb and is great line, holds up well to some rough flipping in heavy cover.

Like that Gamma Fluorocarbon. I have 8# leader on 30# Power Pro for a shakeyhead set up and never had better results. I have another question to you, What know to you use to connect the fluorocarbon to braid and also what knot do you attach your bait(hook) to the fluorocarbon?

I use a double Uni Knot for attaching two different lines together. Much easier to tie than a Blood Knot and is very small. If tying fluorocarbon to braid, make 6-8 turns on the braid side. For tying on lures, I've been using the Berkley Trilene knot for years and have never had a knot break....line breaks on rare occasions, but never at the knot.

I use 16# FC Sniper at LOZ. Some like to use 20# with all the metal and cables at LOZ, but I’ve never had an issue.

For Flipping in heavy cover I use 50# Power Pro with a 15# Yo-zuri Hybred Florocarbon leader. I tie the leader to the Florocarbon with a Modified Albright knot (6-8 winds, smallest and smoothest Knot) and the hook with a Diego Knot. Sometimes I will up the leader to 20# if I'm Punching and go to a double Palomar knot for the bait.
