The mega transducer will work on the trolling motor. There isn’t a swap on it that I’m aware of.

I have the mega transducer that came with my helix 10 on my trolling motor with the transducer shield saver! I plan on adding a helix 10 or 12 later at transom to replace my 998

There is a swap for a trolling motor version, but the transducer is the same, just comes with a trolling motor mount.

You can just order the Humminbird mount (AD MTM) and use the transom model.
OR get the Transducer Shield and Saver mount TM-HX-1

You only need one Ethernet cable of suitable length but will also need an Ethernet Adapter cable for each unit. Not sure you can get depth readings on the console unit with transducer on the jack plate when on plane. I'm not familiar with that boat but most glass boats need shoot-thru hull transducer and y-cable. GPS needed for console unit if you want more accurate waypoints.

Transducer Shield/Saver for the trolling motor. Money well spent.

I used the HB trolling motor mount this time. It's around $40 and if you knock the transducer off the shaft on the TM is wrecked too....... lol

Transducer shield is a good product but for the price difference this time I couldn't see it.

Hi everyone thanks for all the information. I was out of town for awhile and busy doing other stuff just started looking at my post. I got some info from Humminbird, I can trade my transducer and it will come back with transducer with mount -----https://www.humminbird.com/Products/XTM-9-20-MSI-T/. I dont know if i will go that route.

If you fill the backside with quick set epoxy, it will be much harder to break it.

If you break the TM - you have a lot bigger problems!

Do the Mega and Regular SI transducer share the same size and bolt pattern, wondering if the AD-MTM will work the same for my Helix SI tranducer?

    Thanks

The only thing in common with the XHS mount is the transom mount hole pattern. How the transducers attach to the mount is not even close to the same. No it will not work.
