I think I know the answer to this but do you have to remove the tank to fix the drain value, I think the cable has come loose. It's still attached to the lever in the live well, thanks

Yep. You on the wright track
but replace it with new one
dont try to fix it or you be doing it
again after trips.
I think the cable just came loose, won't know till I get the tank out, needs to get a little warmer too
Yep. Re did mine last spring.
let me know what you find out mine is doing the same thing. Seem like the cable came loose. Good thing is it is in the closed position so I just pump it out if I use it.
I keep mine sprayed and lubed up as much as possible...I know at some point it’ll be a problem.

I'll let you know but it might be this weekend before I can get to it
I syphoned my gas into gas cans... tank is super easy to get out... thanks to bullet lol then you can sit down and work on it it’s ease.
If you're real small you can, still hard for me and I'm just 5'8"
I’m 6’3 and it wasn’t to bad. A lot better than reaching somewhere you can’t see your arm falling asleep lol
I'm with you on that one, it's not too difficult, just a pain
Wouldn’t be a real boat if it wasn’t somewhat of a pain lol
But why this thread is going... I replaced my valve and everything and like 2 weeks later it quit working too... does anyone else have consistent trouble? I just but a pvc cap and capped my live well off. I can pump it out or unscrew the cap. But just curious
