I could probably move my xducer, adjust my JP, turn on surface clarity and a number of other things to reduce/remove it......but it doesn't bother me. What I'm looking for isn't 4ft below the boat when I'm scanning.

I have those exact "bars" directly under the boat on my graph and it bothers the crap out of me.

Man I don't get that kind of pics with my Gen 2's. I will have to play around more I guess.

Is there any tip or tricks on leveling the the LSS-2 to the bottom of the boat? i always just try to eyeball mine. but have never gotten that type pictures on my unit.

Theres a video on YouTube that shows a method. He uses a level and coins to figure slope of boat in the water and then replicates it using the jack at home. Looks like it would work fine.

If you have a point-1 you can level your transducer with it!

That sounds interesting, can you describe how to level the transducer with the point-1?

used this to realize my transducer was off. Before doing this it looked OK when I eyeballed it.
