    Question Lake Austin

saw it mentioned on another post and was wondering if it still fishes good? Been a while since I have been on it and thought I might give it a try in a couple of weeks.

Meh.....I'd go to Buchanan and chase stripers and whites right now. The jigging spoon bite is ridiculous right now.......I'm seeing reports of 150+ fish days. I had 40 fish in about an hour Tuesday when it was dead calm.

Haven't heard anything good on Austin in a long time. Our club use to go there but hasn't in years. I suggest Decker, lots of grass and good fishing.

Decker is on fire right now. Plenty of fat fish in the 4-7lb range.

Time your travels thru Austin to avoid the rush hours...Austin has some of the worst traffic in the history of the world....
