I think I've seen posts on the 929 but not sure. The footprint on the foot pedal is about 12.5" x 9" but the problem is at front where the steering cables connect interfering with bow panel. The recess on the z8 is about 16" long and tapers back from 10.5" to about 6.5" at rear which forces the pedal forward. The steering cables wouldn't vertically clear the rear of bow panel.

I've got a 07 929 and it fit no problem. Was also able to get screws in it no problem.
