    Smart Craft

Heh guys, I have a 225 pro xs with the small square smart craft gauge connected. My problem is that as soon as I turn my ignition on without starting the motor, the rpm readout starts to fluctuate on the guage. The reading is between about 2000 and 4500rpm. No huge issue as I have an analog tacho but I would like to have the digital guage working as even the fuel usage is way out. Any ideas ??

Master Reset, and disconnect cable at BOTH ends (at instrument AND at engine) overnight.

If the problem persists, the cable "Can-P" pair should be checked to confirm two good resistors in network.

If resistors and network are good, replace instrument (likely damaged by lightening).
