Almost a foot longer is a lot when you have your rod tips hitting the console or your non boater. Does either model have an issue with 7- 7.5' rods buckled on the deck?

Both consoles have a space between the console and the gunnel for the rods tips to lay in to avoid the actual console. I run without my passenger console 99% of the time and the longer rods from the port side overlap the passenger rod holder by 6 inches or so. Can make for a mess if you're not paying attention.

Long rods on starboard side. Shorter rods on port. Easy peasy.

I have my bottom rigs on the starboard side, and cranks, spinners, topwater and such on the port side.

I have concerns with the front deck length of the 819/919 as well. Here are a few that I have found researching this topic. I have several more if you need them.

Weird, they show up fine on my phone and desktop. I even signed out of the forum and it still works.
