No doubt 94.5 is impressive as hell with a 21xd tournament loaded with a 28 pitch bravo. I'll give up a few mph and keep my SHO though top end isn't my biggest concern anymore. I've added power poles and run mid 80's with 2 people on tournament day with a very strong holeshot. I've never even tried to put a lower pitch prop and maximize the horsepower of my flashed SHO by spinning more than 6,000 rpms.
94.7 and yes. Thanks. It’s the best motor I’ve ever owned. It’s a strong motor and not just cause it’s a 300, but just by the way it accelerates and runs clear through the range. From low to top it never lacks power. I’ve had motors that were good low to mid or mid to top, this one just seems to keep building strong all the way through. I lucked out with this one. Not saying they’re bad or anything like that, just some motors whether boat or vehicle seem to do a little better than others. I’ve had identical motors before and had that one that outperformed the others. I’m the second owner of this boat and not completely sure if any possible upgrades was done to it. It only has 207 hrs. Never rebuilt and at those hrs it shouldn’t have been, but I don’t know about any tweeking.

I was on the track to run trips had big plans for my boat this year but the owner of our company thought otherwise and is retiring and closing down. Crazy how fast life changes now I'll be starting my own business by the time we are done with the last few jobs I hope I have enough customers to hit the ground running and get back on track.

In 2016 I bought land and after tons of dozer work, building, getting moved in and settled the whole year was gone. So I didn’t get my boat out til late fall and didn’t do much with it. 2017 was a ton work and had a few things I was faced with that didn’t allow me to run my boat much either. 2018 good Lord willing, I’m gonna bust the water hard. Kyle, I hope the best for you in your business plans! Good luck my friend!

By the way I was getting around 92 with power poles and all my tackle two guys and live wells had water in them, left the valve open lol didn't realize it until pulled the boat out and water was gushing out. I've removed power poles and have a alien cowling now haven't done any testing yet loaded hope to do that soon.

We you need to put your 300XS on my Bullet so I can break 90!!!
2008 BULLET 21XD 2007 Merc 300xs
I'll try to get there as soon as it warms up a bit
I run high 90's low 100's loaded to fish with a 300XS on a 20XD. I beat 99.9% of boats out of the hole and that 00.1% that get out of the hole infront should injoy there 3sec of glory as i'm blasting by them within 100 feet.
We have one tournament where we blast 110 boats at a time SHOT GUN start. I have never lots the race.

Man you ain’t running 94.7 loaded
I can run 91 loaded with a junk bravo that was with power poles. I believe with some work I could get 94 with mine. I'll be honest I didn't believe it at first but if he's running it at 6300 rpm's that's like 8.5% slip
Bullet 21xrd Mercury 300xs
8.5% slip is extremely efficient for a Bravo. Most good ones run around 10%. At least that’s what I’ve seen from my limited experience. 7% seems to be about as good as it gets and most times that only happens with a 3 blade.
Guys I’m just tellin ya what the gps said.
