    Beep at idle?

Launched yesterday morning and it was cold out so after I tied off on the dock to park truck I let engine idle to warm properly. Came back was still idling and was prepping tackle/rods and I got a beep that was a few seconds long and then it was off. Smartcraft showed no issues. Was this just some sort of beep to let you know its been idling for extended period? 2012 250 proXS with 70 hours.

No the beep was for a alarm. What was the operating temperature of the motor when the alarm went off?

Mine was trash in thermostat. And a small leak. Temp didn’t show much out of the normal. Maybe a bit cool at idle. But the computer is telling you it can’t shut off the water or something. Have the codes read.

also always make sure it warms up to 124 or so then opens the thermostat. But I’d read the codes! cold water does bad things to black motors.

Check the engine oil tank and make sure there is no air in the tank.
