I went to the store today and put a curado K, curado 70, Lews Pro G on a Megabass rod and the new Curado K felt really nice - tiny for a 200 size reel. They didn’t have any of the high end daiwas but the Tatula CT was too big for me. I’m also a little Leary now of pushing the line out of the narrow level wind groove and into the t wing.

The steez is a very compact reel and I have no problem putting my whole hand over it while I fish, which is what I prefer. The alphas sv in my opinion is smaller and really lightweight and doesn't cause your hand fatigue from palming it all day.

Another vote for the Curado 70 XG. A really sweet little reel.

Careful fingering high end equipment. Next thing you know you will be a gear whore you will be ruined after spending all your money on high end gear.

For you guys that like the Curado 70, what size and type line are you using and what is your preferred technique using this reel?

What about one of the 13 Fishing offerings. I've never used one but seemed to remember them being very small framed.

Im in the same boat as you. I prefer easily palmable reels. Here are the reels i have that fits me and that i own: 13 concept C, core50, and the curado70 wich is an awsome reel. I will get my hands on the new curadoK soon but ive tried it at the store and it looks very good and small for a 200 size reel.
