    Mountain Cedar just plain sucks.........

    Headed east to Fayette tomorrow. I don’t care how cold it is going to be-gotta get away this dang mountain cedar….. Have a good weekend guys.

    Are you referring to the yellow clouds of pollen that seem to burst out of those trees about this time of year?

    I don’t think many of these guys get to experience the awesomeness of ash juniper.

    The cedar pollen sucks the life out of me. 4 weeks to go and it is gone.

    That was the worst, the absolute worst part of living in Austin for me. Jan to March would always be a downright miserable time for me. The fishing on Lake Austin when it was #4 on the bassmaster top 100 list more than made up for that, though. :)

    I have a deer lease in Uvalde and have seen the cedar tree clouds first hand. On this side of I35 the pine tree pollen in March can be brutal as well.
