With the new lower gauge panel there is really no need for aftermarket mounts. The bottom of the panel is supported so you can bolt your factory gimble to it. Below is a photo of the 16" on mine.
Mine 2 12 inch on factory dash with the stock gimbals works great, very rigid.
When I added my 2nd unit to the console I purchased the lower gauge shroud from Phoenix and also bought the precision sonar bracket from Randy Kuhens. Highly recommended both if you plan on having 2 units on the console.

Mines flat, the chassis is parallel with the side of the boat when stowed.
I recently went from the larger gauges to the smaller gauges in order to install 2 units. I was given information to swap the wires over to the new gauges. After I swapped my gauges do not read properly. Anyone else had this issue or know what I may have done wrong?
No they typically sit flat unless you have it raised to fish shallow water, which when I took this picture I had been fishing pretty shallow areas.
Mine sits lower too. If you look, that motor is pulled way up to run the prop shallow, or it may be a 52" shaft pulled up.
