Led nav lights on tin rig

I have a 16ft jb I run the river and small waters with. I installed a light bar which was in the way of my nav light. I decided to buy some led strip lights from bps (bps brand btw) didn't even last a season came loose and burned out. My boat is square front I wrapped the leds around the edges so they could be seen from the front and sides. Could installing the lights like this caused them to come loose? I'm going to replace them with Bluewaters but hate to install the same way with same results

I can’t see why it would have made the light go out early. You shouldn’t have an issue with Bluewaters...if you do they have a lifetime warranty.

I used the Bluewater Extreme Pro for mine.
The sealed aluminum case was easy to mount and looked great.
they are also tough as nails.
i have no way to post a pic but I do have some of them mounted and turned on.

Blue Water LED extreme pro work great for that application. Ott DeFoe used them on his aluminum boat for Nav lights

I used the shark eye nav lights on my duck boat. They work great and they are located on the side to be out of the way of your light bar.

I believe nav lights are only suppose to be installed on the sides!
Just can't leave well enough alone!!
