HITCH DROP TAHOE & RANGER INFO NEEDED

    My boat: 2014 Z520C
    TAHOE: 2017 2WD

Is anyone towing with this set-up. If so what hitch drop works best? Thanks.

    USA

You want the frame of the trailer to be parallel to road ( level to the road ). What ever drop that will get you that is the one you should use.

I have a 6" drop on my Yukon 2wd. Tow a single axle and it is level.

Thanks for the replies. I will do the measurements and see how it all works out.

I was surprised that the 2WD Tahoe sits higher at the hutch than the 4WD Silverado I traded.

Still hope to hear from someone with the same equipment.

I have a 2015 4 WD Tahoe and am pulling a 2016 Z521c. I am currently using a ball mount with 8" drop but the boat is still slightly nose high.

I'm going to try a 10" drop to see if it will level it out.

Tahoe's seem to sit really high as I have a brand new ten foot utility trailer that is also a little nose high.

I'll let you know how the 10" drop works out.

Ranger suggest the hitch be 18inches off the ground for good pulling on there trailers. I imagine I'm a Tahoe it will require I large drop as the hitches are very high on most of them.
