Will Lowrance covers stay on while trailering

Ok guys I ordered an 18 ZX 250 last week with Lowrance 12 in dash and lowrance 9 in bow. Will I be able to tow with the covers not blowing off? Or is there a trick I can do to keep them on. Not crazy about towing with the covers off. Thanks for any help.

I don’t trust them to stay. I Velcro them on while traveling.

I have a 2016 XZ225. I've lost two from the bow already. Now I never cover it. Console stays just fine.

Console stays just fine. My bow unit is on a RAM mount, so I just put it face down when towing. Haven't lost one yet.

Never lost one but doesn’t mean they won’t fly off

Never had an issue when they were the factory mounts.

I strap them now that they’re on Precision mounts and sit at a different angle.

My 2015's are still on, and they are factory-mounted.

I use mini bungee cords on mine... Not flush mounted.. Got mine mounted on precision mounts, I wouldn't trust the covers to stay...

I lost from one in bad waves then again crossing a RR track so I added some velcro small inch long a couple places to snuggle the fit...so far so good...
I suggest the bow one be removed if traveling until you figure a good snug material...also wrote inside bow one name/ph so may get returned but
    overall it is a HASSLE.

They will hold at first, but eventually from taking them on and off the clips where down and they will go flying.

Thanks for all the info guys I really don't want to tow with covers off and since they are flush mounted it looks like I better velcro them or figure something out.

Congratulations on your new boat! You will love it! I bought a 2016 ZX225 and love mine. The covers will eventually get lost....for the actual cost of these Lowrance units, one would think that the manufacturer could invest a bit more of the technology they have into including some sort of a cover that latches instead of snapping lightly!

    Bungee cords here.
I believe Lowrance instructions say that these covers are NOT a travel cover.

flush mount would be a bit more tricky, but I took my flush mount out and added a cup holder so I can get into the bow area for wiring etc. ram mount on both the bow and console area so the bungee strap is my answer. I guess I should have read a bit more closely.

Mine are on Mounts so I use a Improve Bundeze cord that I leave on the mount. I couldn't keep up with the regular bundie cords.
