    dale water levels

Is there any correlation on lake levels and generation on the winter smallmouth bite? On ky lake when they are pulling water it seems to help. On pickwick at Florence,Al when they aren't pulling water the bite is usually non-existent as soon as they start Hang on. Not sure about Dale, anyone notice anything?

Don't appear to have much affect on them on Dale Hollow. It being a highland reservoir, instead of a "big River" navigable waterway such as KY Lake & Pickwick, the generation of water from the dam doesn't create current like it does on those lakes. And the further away from the dam you get on Dale it becomes even less noticeable.
Also, I don't think lake level affects them that much on Dale either. Ive caught lots of smallmouth there at winter pool as well as summer pool. They are basically doing the same thing during both levels, just in different locations.
