First thing to do is to contact the company that did the tune and ask what the current max RPMS are. When I looked into it, they raised the RPM limiter quite a bit. Until you know that number, you really do not have a WOT number to test slip with.

OK How do I lower it.? I know nothing about props. Right now I have a 21 pitch and can hit max rpms with enough trim. I already raised motor 2 holes, I have 1 left.
Lazer has to go
buy a x-7 ss and your slip will drop a ton
Ik supposedly at 4-7% slip with the stock x7 ss
If it was raised to 6300, have you hit the top speed at 6300 to do your calculation?
Im running with 3% slip with my X7 with mostly just the foot in the water.

I’d be more concerned with your prop slip number at WOT than anywhere else. If it’s that high, you either have to adjust engine hieight, get a new prop, or have cup added to your current one. If you are as low in the water as you say you are, I can’t see dropping the motor anymore.
