New Fortex US2 connector broken

So after waiting 10 days for Cabela’s to get my Minn Kota Fortrex 112 in, I get it home and unbox it only to find the US2 connector broken. The pins are still there but the plastic insert that separates the pins has been broken and laying inside the box.

Anybody know if this should still work properly? Or is this something I’m going to have to send it back for. I really don’t have time to wait for another motor. It’s already time to prefish for the upcoming tournaments. I will try to upload a pic

If that piece pill push back in, it will probably be OK, but, I would return to avoid a future problem. Don't know why it took so long. I can usually have you one within a week.
