    Basics unkown

2011 Ranger 520 with 2011 Evinrude 250HO and 25P Fury3 wot 71mph @6000 rpm. That said would a 26P same prop give me more top end but slow me getting out of the hole? What would the reason for going 26P?

Also agreed. I had a 2012 Z520 with the same engine and same (25 inch Fury) prop. The best path I can think of to possibly gain 1-2 mph on top end is to have your current Fury balanced and blueprinted, if it isn’t already. That and reduce weight in the boat....
