    i doubt she sat in the hall and was just minding her own business. But what she was expressing in the meeting she is 100% correct all around the state. The superintendents are making mega bucks yet teachers salaries and school programs are getting axed due to budget cuts.

    I saw that the ACLU was willing to take her case. After watching the video, and as best I could hear it, it may very well be the first time I know of that I side with the ACLU.

    I think i have to agree with you on that....in the video she wasnt hollering, jumping up and down, etc. like you see others and she gets treated like that.....pretty sad...

    I think the officer and the board President were out of line.
    If they did not want to make the national scene they just did 10 times over.
    Basically the board President said hold my beer and the constable said no I got this hold my beer.
    I can see a Malfeanse in office charge coming for the board President.

    It has always seemed to me that the lowest peons on the totem pole of government think that they are sovereign kings. I realize that not all are like that, but many of them are whether they are school board members, police jury, or town aldermen. Really sad how just a little bit of power goes to someone's head.

    Totally agree, preacher ed. The local School Board meetings are broadcast on local Cable TV. Its disturbing to watch, I don't any more. Sure glad my grand-kids live in another parish...BF
