Looking for Guide: St. Johns River

I will be going on a family trip to Disney and was debating getting s guide on the St. Johns. Will be with a couple families so I know I'll have a car if needed to drive a bit to get there. Anyone know of a guide that would be good and is relatively close to Orlando area? Thanks.

Eddy Bussard of Bass Challenger Guide Service is the best St. John's River guide in the area.

Just saw on facebook.. Capt Ed hammered em' today.. Ice on the motor and sub 30* at first light. Picture of his client was holding 4 toads, best one went 9+..

But anyway, yea, the river sucks right now.. I was out last week after 4 day warm up and didn't see the first bass.. Couple dead/struggling tilapia and a turtle was it.

Kissimmee Chain probably a better bet and closer unless your heart is set on the river?

Hello Mic, Don't remind me about age, it tells me more than 70+ years has passed and there aren't many more in the future. Fishing has been very good for me and wife. Wife retired 5 years ago and decided she wanted to learn how to fish for bass, rather than bream. Every since I have had to work harder to find bass, as she likes the idea that catching is more fun than just going fishing. She had a good trip yesterday. There was a time she always questioned why I buy so many lures, now that she enjoys fishing she tells me to go buy some more. So, get off that couch and fish.

You've got plenty of years left brother! You're living right, on the water with loved ones!! Having a fishing partner at the ready is half the battle for me.. I used to not mind getting out there solo, but lately, if the weather isn't really nice, the drive just hasn't been there.. Hopefully that'll change here in a month or so!
