The lakes might be frozen but its time to start the new season. The rules for the 2018 Piedmont Tournament Trail tournament series are posted HERE. There are a few changes to the rules from last year which are highlighted in red so check them out. I tried to group tournaments in the months that most people preferred and left a break during the hottest part of the year. We're also going back to Kerr Lake this year. If you have any questions, just let me know.
Blast off and weigh in times will be posted one week before each tournament. Times will vary based on time of year and weather and are at the discretion of the Tournament Director. Tournaments are expected to last 6 - 8 hours.
At the weigh-in of each tournament the winners, and other successful anglers, are encouraged to share information on how they had their success. You may share as much or as little information as you choose but you will never be expected to share details such as specific locations or lure selection.
