    Which mount??

    What mount do you guys recommend for a helix 10 mega?

    The RAM 109 HU or RAM 109 VU are good solid gunnel swivel mounts, depends on the surface you have to work with.

    A metal bridge mount for the bow is best, Dek-it, Precision Sonar, Bass Boat Technologies, etc due to shock loads.

    I have the Helix 10 at my console and have it on the RAM swing arm, works great and very sturdy.

    I was thinking the 109u on the bow as well as console, you wouldn't recommend that at the bow?

    I just installed a Balzout mount on my bow last night. I haven’t tested it yet but the sucker is stout!

    I like the Johnny Ray mount up front, very stable and you can swivel any direction and tilt to help avoid any glare, I tuck it over by the trolling motor area to eliminate any obstruction climbing in the front of the boat.

    had ram mount. Wasn’t satisfied (but wasn’t the swing arm type) it had to much movement. . Switched to bass boat tech and have been very pleased since
