    Fortrex Brace extension

    Just installed a Fortrex on my boat and the brace doesn't reach my deck. Do they make extensions or longer rods?

    was it used? the new rod is usually about a foot and a half or so and you cut it to fit your boat.

    Been in the market for a used fortrex and never considered this. Good to know. Looks like new ones are $45 or less.

    I ordered a new one. I do work in a machine shop but don't have access to the machines like i used to. these big companies aren't the same as being in a small shop.
