    transom cap mod

Here is the modification done to my 2000 Triton TR21. It was originally diagnosed as a weak transom due to some flexing of engine while underway in rough waters. The fiberglass shop determined flexing was from top cap after cutting inspection hole in motorwell to check. They ended up building up and tying in to all points where added stress would be from jackplate. I am very pleased with work especially with my top end gains since work was done. I believe the flexing, ever so slightly, was robbing MPH. I had to remove everything in the bilge to have work done so I took advantage of circumstances by cleaning up all terminals and adding Blue Sea fuse box.

That's pretty sharp and a good looking "clean" bilge.
