Here is a short video I took the other day while in my Eyra in some cool weather. To say the least....I am very impressed with the SHO!!!

I saw this in Yamaha’s page and congratulated your impressive run, but I took a video one handed like you did and I was already cooking along, after 14 seconds my steering arm was tired as heck. I think that’s amazing, and I will be looking hard at BCB

Thanks for the pats on the back. I think the big story here is the Hammer and Eyra combo is a winner!!! I am very happy with the decision to go with Yamaha. I have zero issues with hole shot and zero issues with top end almost to the mid 80's (84.2 and I have seen that twice now). My motor is completely stock and I would hate to think of how fast it would be if I had it flashed. A 27 pitch prop would be fun to try but I think I am going to leave well enough alone and fish.....that is what I bought the boat for in the first place (plus it is a damn nice boat...LOL) Cheers to all

Elwood, you've got a hot one buddy! Congrats on a great rig and a bad to the bone setup! I hope my new eyra will perform close to that well when I get it. I wonder if any of the Mercury guys have ever tried one of those Yamaha props out? I might have to aquire one for a test run.

Nice run Elwood! People dont realize how well the SHO holeshots and accelerates til they ride in a boat with one...

    What prop was that?

Wish you lived close to me, we could have some fun trying props (I have a REALLY fast 27 Fury) and drag racing boats!
