    Jackplate 6" on 1875 Pro V Bass

    Guys,

Question is what am I gaining by adding a Jackplate? Shallower water running? Increase in top end Speed?

you’re not going to gain a whole lot. Yes, if you order a hydraulic, you might be able to take off
In slightly shallower water and you might gain 1-2mph. A jackplate has more effect on a pad style hull than the hybrid hull Lund uses on the pro v bass.

I have never seen a jackplate on one but give it a try. Something will change if set correctly surely.

It’s my belief from what I have seen. If you have a straight transom. A jackplate will help. Some hulls react differently, as holeshot improves but speed doesn’t. Top speed will but holeshot is the same. Or those to areas stay virtually the same but drivability is better. If you hit the jackpot, all three improves. But something will
