    Venice water conditions

I'm tagged out on bucks, so my deer season is over. I'm going spend a week in Venice next week to do some duck hunting. Looking to see if anyone has been lately and if the water has cleared up. I'm debating on bring fishing gear, or to just relax and enjoy my non duck hunting time working on the Budweisers

I can't speak for Venice but Delacroix is a good solid 3 feet low as of yeaterday(Thursday)... and water temps were 41-44 degrees...

It’ll still be a few weeks until it’s finished, but here are a few they sent me today. Missing a lot of things still.

I don’t have Facebook, but a guy on the Tin Boats board said it is on Facebook. He put a couple pictures of the “Gator Trax Strike Series “ thread in the Tin Boats board.

Sharp boat, anybody have one of these. If I was sure I could have dry compartments, a dry ride, and the ability to run the bayous of south LA without sliding or bouncing this is the boat I would have. Be sure to give us a good review when you get it.

Just went for the test run with new boat on the Ticfaw River. Not too many long straight aways, but still got 75mph with 2 guys, 40 gallons of fuel, 4 group 31 batteries and charger, 36v 112lb trolling motor, 2 10' power poles, 10” Bob’s hydraulic jack plate, and a tool box. On the longest straight away when hit 75, Rpms were 5800 and climbing. 27 ventless T1 prop. Did not measure prop to pad. There are a few minor tweaks to be made at the shop, so I did not get to bring it home today. It’ll be this week tho.
