Fished it last 4 years we normally have around 20 boats. With there creel limits the way they are you must have a partner to cash a check. Overall a great group of guys.

What are the launch fees at Mill Creek? We were just talking about this yesterday at the Tinley fishing show.

I scoured the Mill Creek site and didn't see the fees posted anywhere so I called them a minute ago and was told an annual out of district ramp pass is $136, and a daily out of district fee is $16.

Good to know- thank you. $16 a day is tolerable.

According to the Clark County park district creel limits you're allowed 2 less than 15" and 1 equal to or greater than 15". Should I assume this is a 6 fish tournament? Also looks like that place gets hit hard every weekend with tourneys. https://www.clarkcountyparkdistrict....ng-tournaments

It is a five bass limit tourney. Each person gets the creel limit but limit for USA basin is 5 (as a team) 2 over or 1 over and 4 under. no line fish must be over or under. Have seen some cut tails in the past and that is a DQ. Lake does get hit pretty hard but still produces good numbers. Pretty good tourney director and a good group of guys fishing it Does get pretty busy with pleasure boaters in june july and august but overall good lake.

What place doesn't? I was looking at Newton and every weekend in March and most in April has at least 2 on every Saturday and Sunday. Braidwood has big tournaments every weekend starting in April. Is it just me or does it seem like it has gotten worse in the last few years? And as I look at Mill Creek, that isn't as bad as either of the two other places.

No problem. They have a really nice wide ramp and parking, however; I did become a victim years ago as someone backed into my boat trailer damaging it and left without leaving a note etc. That is my one bad experience at Mill. I love to fish that lake though as the scenery alone is gorgeous.
