Hey guys...I have a 2018 Phoenix 721 on order and was planning on a 250 SHO on the back of it. Dealer just called and said Yamaha says no SHO motors will be sold untill further notice and probably will be long term like all of the 2018 model year......so my next choice is Mercury. Give me opinions on Pro XS and Verado. I really like the 4 stroke but hear the Verado is heavier.

The Miami Boat Show is next month and it is possible that a regular aspirated 4 stroke motor may be announced by Mercury.

The Verado is a bit heavier- but it also doesn't require as much setback, which negates most of the weight difference.
I would probably make my decision after I watched the MBS.
