Awesome. Once out of the hole and on plane, the upper one is out of the water so as not to cause unwanted excess drag limiting top end!!!!

This is the Yamaha TRP. If my memory is correct it was only available on 150 or 175. They were only in production for few years in the late 90's and early 2000's. A guy I know had one on a 97 or 98 (late 90's) Skeeter ZX185. I was in his boat 2-3 times. The best I remember hole-shot was great but bow lift was less than normal. It ran with a lot of stern lift. Top end speed was on par or slightly better with other boats of the same horsepower.

Lot of shallow bay/flats guys down here run them and swear by them for running shallow water. They claim amazing hole shot and ability to stay on plane at lower speeds with a 3-5 mph loss on top end. They are putting them on new 250 sho's.
