The boat has not been out in a 3 weeks, it was not leaking last week, It is really cold, the oil is coming out of the top hole, to the right of the screw you remove to change your lower unit oil, What do you all think, water in there and it froze, I will drain tomorrow didn't have time today, there is probably a couple ounces of oil that leaked out, It didnt look milky like water was in there, Thanks for your help,

will need to be torn down to acess repairs id pull it off and get it in where it wont freeze or at least drain water and gear oil,yes spec tools are needed ,may just need seals or pump base needs to be tested just don't let it crack your welcome joe

Just make sure to refill the case after you thaw it out and drain water/lube. Don't leave it sit empty.

the bearings and seals don't freeze and bust only the case.
if the case made it , then maybe all you need is a "seal job"
    Hope for the best
