I need a Power Cable for a Lowrance LCX model head unit. The part# is PC-27BL. This is a 3 wire power cable with blue connector. Thanks

Any of the blue connector power cables will work unless you are looking particularly to power the NMEA 2K on your boat.

The HDS plug is different. Not saying it won’t work, but the older plugs will not work on HDS. More pins are used, I think.

Charlie is correct, I need the three wire to power the puck. The 2 wire HDS power cord the will power the unit on but, I would have to have a tee, terminator and power node. I need one like Karl has in the pic.

I'll look for the box full of Lowrance stuff I have, may have what you need. I can't get to it for a little bit, working on some customer needs at the moment

LCX has 10 pins. The HDS is 10 pin also.

The red & black wires are all that power any of the units and they are the same on all the blue connector power cables. The other wires are for other options, NMEA2K, NMEA 0183, RS232 & RS422. The HDS cannot power the NMEA2K network so it has to be powered through the power cable or a head unit that will power the network. The issue there is that if the unit capable of powering the N2K network is on the bow, it has to be powered on for the network to work. That's why it is recommended to power the network via a N2K-PWR-RD power cable connected to a T in the backbone. I power the N2K network via the A1 switch on the MegaLink system that also powers the HDS units at the console and the bow. My original StructureScan module and dash mounted LMS-520c are powered through the A2 switch.

Both of my HDS units are powered with the original power cables that were in my boat when I got it. A X-135 in the dash and a LCX-28c on the bow.

Go search the Messicun flea market next to the VCR's and old vacuum cleaners with all the other electronics of that era

No big deal. It is for a good friend of mine. No hurry, he has the 2 wire power cable and wants me to install it for him. It would be a lot easier than the tees and power module route.
