Leaning towards a new rig I'm concerned about water in boxes during fishing in the rain. And front lift and fish ability trying to track . Hope someone can give me some info.

If you haven’t purchased yet and have these concerns already, you will be expecting issues and never be happy with your boat. At least that was my experience. If you are going to use your boat in wet conditions, you will not be pleased. Fish ability is on the level of any other when setup correctly. Make darn sure you get the price of your boat rigged out exactly how you want, with all the options and accessories that you want. Then go compare apples to apples price with the others you are considering. Most of your more “expensive” boats have standard features that you will pay extra for with Xpress. I had over 50grand in mine by the time I finished. It’s still sitting in my shop but not being used. Thinking about selling it because I don’t need 3 boats and soon won’t have an engine on it.

Damn, sorry your have such a bad issue with you rig. I'm going through the same but it's glass.
I have a x19. I like it better than any boat so far. I think you will like it just remember no boat is perfect
LIFE IS GOOD
STILL CAN'T CATCH A FISH.
I also have an X-19 and love it. Storage stay's dry enough for me... Just put the stuff you don't want to get wet into a locking container and you are good to go.

Why arent the rod and storage boxes staying dry? Its not rocket science to get water to drain!
2002 X19 200HP OX66 HO Vmax,HPDI lower, it lives, thanks Hydro Tec.
I have a 2006 X19 I really like it. Mine was a project boat and since I've redone it my compartments are bone dry. The boat tracks and fishes good even for sitting a little bow high. I actually like casting from it better and sight fishing is better. It does catch some wind up front but when your fishing into white caps there is a little more clearance for waves coming over the front. With ever boat there are some trade offs but over all I'm really happy with this boat.
Sounds like poor workmanship if decks have open seams that arent sealed. Is this an open seam in a weld or a poor sealing job?
The deck is not completely welded all the way on my 2006 X21TS just enough to hold it in place. We just had our boat recarpeted, so we just sealed all areas that even look like it would let water in. So far so good. As far as water tight compartments on glass boat go, good luck all leak some. If you want to keep it dry put it in a water tight box in the compartment. Xpress is putting a lip around the compartments now so maybe they have addressed the other problems, who knows.
No problem with fishing out of it, just as good as any glass boats we had or my buddy's 21 ft Ranger. I can fish areas that glass boat can not, good it stumps areas , it will come of the real easy. The ride is as good and dry as any glass boat I been in.
