    Thanks for the kind words!

Well, here is a little update.

-Minn Kota fortrex 80# US2 Tm mounted-

mixed up small batches of resin, filler, pigment, filled old mounting holes on the bow before hanging the new unit.

    -Taco marine rub rail installed-

healthy bead of marine silicone, SS screws. I would highly recommend a flexible vinyl rub if you ever plan on replacing yours. I think it looks great and is definitely of high quality

    -template for front deck-

used timber made for a quick outline of the deck extension.

It’s 4am over here so I’ll add more later

re-installed the factory transom transom/trim caps after a light Brillo polishing.

Glued up rear hatches carpet and pad.

    Howdy guys!

    Time for an update.

I must give credit to the carpet pros, so much work! Getting all the seams to look good really adds to the timeframe.

Splitting the fibers, inserting glue and then taping over after weaving the fibers.

    Lids turned out nice

Almost have the rear deck wrapped up

The deck extension project was more tedious than I expected but I’m pleased with the results. I scrapped the first edition in favor of better carpentry execution.
The frame when it was almost complete

    Fitment

Now to hang up the woodworking tools and glass this puppy in!

Thanks for checking out the progress

    Nice wood working!
Will there be hatches in front of the console, and to the left of the big new center storage area?

Thanks man I’m a plumber by trade so this is out of my wheel house (project theme!)

As far as the compartment situation goes. After seriously mulling over the layout I’ve decided to eliminate the additional hatches in the extension. I will however keep the day box/foot stays from my original design.
