Ok fellas thanks for the compliments! I’ve been making some more progress. I was on hold waiting on pedestals/bases from Llebroc but they expedited the shipping to get me going quicker.

Moved the base back approx. 8 inches to make things more ergonomic

I had these backing plates leftover from an old jack. Enlarged center hole and voila: under deck support plate

ive installed the Lund cockpit flooring but the contact cement is taking forever to dry! Pics later

Post #34, the boat is sitting on floor Jack's? Can you elaborate?
I'm in the process of acquiring a '87 Skeeter Strada. Will be a cap off job. I'm looking through threads , getting ideas.
Thank you for all the photos, they really help!

thank you sir. In post #34 the boat is suspended by chain hoists. One on bow eye. One by transom eyes. I used tow straps, you can fold the ends and squeeze into tow eyes. The jack stands are to keep the boat from swaying while I was installing the rub rail.

    Close to finishing front deck

Still have to glue the rearward facing portion of console carpet and there’s a few seams left to weave

Looking great! The step/storage bin and passenger foot ramp details turned out awesome - really updates the old boat to a modern look.

Thanks Castingcall. That storage carpet is actually a single piece of carpet. Took me all day trim but it was worth the effort

Boat is getting closer to being outboard ready. I’m waiting on the fuel tank repair as it had sprung a tiny leak in floor of tank. I’ve finished installing the pumps, livewell valve, plumbing, thru hull fittings, aerators.

Drain plug eliminator is pretty nifty.

Jackplate ready to go on transom.

6 gauge power supply to TM installed

    Getting there slowly but surely.
