    Atlas Hydraulic vs Bobs

    Any recommendations which one is best.

    But there are even better options, best imo being Hydro Dynamics https://www.hydrodynamics-usa.com/

    Would also look into Detwiler

    Better built, stronger, more reliable (esp over time)

    Atlas have a tendency to oval out the round slide areas when left up high, and flex more.

    I see that Legend offers Bobs as an option but not Atlas on their site. Bob's seems to be the most popular. Thanks guys.

    Bobs definitely isn’t the most popular. But it’s clearly the better plate. The issue is TH marine owns atlas and they can offer heavy discounts to the factories plus large incentive package to tournament anglers just like power pole.

    I've had zero issues with the 12 inch Atlas on my 2013 Alpha 211/Honda 250 combo. And my motor is fairly heavy.

    well i started that thread, and still dont have one, but i have compiled more info and actually met people with both and they are both also suggesting bobs i will be getting bobs.
