    Friday, January 12th

    5:30 p.m. – Pre-Planning Your Day on the Water
    Presented by Dave Stewart
    This year, Dave will be presenting a seminar on Pre-Planning Your Day on the Water. He will be discussing how to pre-plan your day to improve your success rate for catching bass. Dave will also be providing tips that have made him successful for the past 22 years as a bass guide. This will be Capt. Dave’s last appearance as a seminar speaker at the West Kentucky Boat & Outdoor Show as he will be retiring after next season — so come take advantage of his expertise while you can.


    Saturday, January 13th

    11:00 a.m. – Asian Carp Research and Removal Efforts in Western Kentucky
    Presented by Josh Tompkins
    Josh will be presenting a seminar on Asian Carp Research and Removal Efforts in Western Kentucky. The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources is actively engaged in the issues surrounding the increasing Asian carp populations. This presentation will serve as an overview of research projects and removal efforts that KDFWR is conducting in western Kentucky, with an emphasis on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.

    Sad part is the one here in Louisville cost a small fortune to get in and park. Not worth it in the least, to be pestered by people selling windows.

    I went one time to that Louisville "show" and never went back. What a waste that event was, The National Farm Machinery Show is 1000x better than it was.

    I felt the same way about the one in Louisville. Went because I was the president of the Hoptown Bass Club and was active with the Ky Bass Federation. Wasn’t impressed. Had to pay to park, pay to get in and didn’t see any good deals.

    At least the Murray one is free and there's a few decent seminars. Not a huge selection of boats to look at, but still enough to daydream about and let the kids do some climbing on them.

    They had a record attendance last year!!! We sold a few aluminum boats, crowd was interested in buying last year!!!

    Yes, The CFSB is the basketball arena for Murray state. Right next to the football stadium.

    We usually have three or four pontoons, couple glass Rangers, Aluminum Bass Rangers and Lowe bass boats. Not sure this year what Kerry is bringing other than bout 12 boats.

    really hoping this winter storm wont cancel this boat show. On my way to work this morning I seen several boats going into the CFSB center.

    Yeah me too , I had plan on coming but mother nature might have other plans and I will be taking my other half to work possibly . Getting the itch due to my rods never left the house last year due to 2 travel baseball teams my son played on .
