Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words. One of the last projects I'd like to tackle in 2018 is getting a recessed TM pedal installed. It was actually on my order sheet back in Oct 2005 but somehow Ranger overlooked it at the factory. My dealer at the time offered to install it after-market but having just received a brand new boat and not familiar with their skills of doing so at the time, I passed on them cutting my deck. I should have done it back then.

Some guys told me to call Ranger with my VIN and see if it was some how pre-fabbed for the recessed pedal as some boats were from the factory. Unfortunately, Ranger told me mine was not.

Great renovation on your girl! I’m renovating my 06/519VX. I’m the original owner great fishing platform. My boat didn’t have a recessed pedal tray either. I had the dealer install a after market tub looks factory. I really like the new dash configuration! Remote drain plug also. Nice job on your girl!

A buddy and myself installed a recessed TM tray in my 2006 519 right after I got it about 2 years ago..talk about a mini heart attack watching the drill and the sawzall go into the deck of my boat. I swear we must have measured 20 plus times before starting to cut. It turned out great. It can easily be done, just takes some extra patience and faith lol!

Beautiful work. Good for another 20 years or more. You should be proud when you pull up next to the 75k rigs that don't have the quality of build your boat has. How are the seats holding up.??

I love seeing the older boats getting some love. We need more of these projects instead of wasting $70-$80k on a new one. I just upgraded my 2003 521vx with a new Yamaha SHO. Got me excited about my boat again.

Awesome upgrades, very nice boat. A recessed TM tray and an Ultrex and you'd be a happy camper for many many years to come. Happy fishing
