    Prop Replacement

I have a new Merc 4S 75hp with an aluminum 17 pitch prop. I want to go Stainless Steel. Should I use the
same size and pitch? Currently I am running 5000 rpm at full throttle.

I would say yes as the factory props those engines for what is best.......you can always change if you feel it doesn’t suit the boat it is on as far as takeoff but always keep max rpms under the recommendation when running wide open
